FSA’s Senior Wellness Center offers emotional and behavioral health services on a sliding fee scale to seniors, their families, and to residential care facilities for seniors.
Geriatric specialists seek to improve the quality of care and the quality of life for seniors living independantly or in facilities of all types.
Services include evaluation and treatment of behavioral issues to keep seniors independent or at lower and less expensive levels of care. The Wellness Center also provides the managers and staff of residential-care facilities with comprehensive professional training in treating depression and agitation-management.
Our older Adult Day Support program is a daily, peer-supported, activity and socialization program in a therapeutic milieu for people age 55+ who have mental health concerns, including substance abuse. A mutual aid model enables participants to be part of a supportive community and encourages the sharing of ideas, creative arts, and interpersonal growth.
Individual services are offered on Post Street near Civic Center and on Geary Boulevard at the Richmond Senior Center, and in residential care homes. The Older Day Support program is located at 1010 Gough Street.
